Individual Therapy
Psychotherapy for healing, growth, and living with greater meaning and connection.
There are times in life when we find ourselves struggling in ways we never expected. We may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, burdened by grief, caught in repeating relationship patterns, disconnected from ourselves, or uncertain about who we are becoming. Sometimes a significant life event prompts us to seek support. At other times, there is simply a growing awareness that something in our lives no longer fits, accompanied by a longing for greater authenticity, meaning, and connection.
Psychotherapy offers a space to slow down, listen more deeply, and explore what is asking for attention.
I offer individual therapy for youth over 16 and adults seeking support with emotional difficulties, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, questions of meaning and purpose, and the integration of significant life experiences. My approach is relational, experiential, and tailored to the uniqueness of each person I work with.
I believe that many of the struggles we experience are understandable responses to our life circumstances and histories. Anxiety, depression, self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, and difficulties in relationships often emerge within the context of our attachment experiences, the ways our nervous systems have learned to adapt, and the broader cultural and ecological realities in which we live.
Therapy is not about fixing what is broken. Rather, it is an opportunity to cultivate a more compassionate and curious relationship with ourselves, while developing the awareness and resources needed to move through life with greater freedom and choice.

My work draws from attachment-based, psychodynamic, somatic, existential, and transpersonal approaches to psychotherapy. However, I do not believe there is a single method that works for everyone. Instead, I seek to understand your unique history, strengths, values, and aspirations, and together we explore what healing and growth might look like for you.
At the heart of this work is the therapeutic relationship itself. Research consistently demonstrates that the quality of connection between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy. I therefore place great importance on creating a space characterised by warmth, safety, authenticity, and collaboration — a space where all aspects of your experience are welcome.
Over time, therapy can support greater emotional resilience, deeper self-understanding, more fulfilling relationships, and an increased capacity to navigate life's inevitable uncertainties. While people often begin therapy hoping to reduce distress, many discover something more: a renewed sense of vitality, belonging, and connection with what matters most.
For me, healing is not simply the absence of symptoms. It is a movement towards greater wholeness — a deeper connection with ourselves, with our bodies and emotions, with the people we love, with the wider community of life, and with whatever we experience as sacred or meaningful. Therapy can support us in remembering who we are beneath the strategies we have developed to survive.
Seeking support is not a sign of weakness. It is often an act of courage — a willingness to turn toward ourselves with honesty and compassion.
Whether you are navigating a particular challenge or sensing that life is inviting you into a new chapter, therapy can provide a space for reflection, healing, and transformation.
I offer sessions in Mullumbimby, in the Byron Bay region, and online.
